Imagine Network is a design program that teaches forward-thinking school system leaders how to spur and sustain change

Imagine Network develops visionary systems builders: leaders who can imagine a different future, create the conditions for others to build it, and continuously adapt the path as they learn

  • Year-Long Leader Cohort

    The Imagine Network Leader Cohort is a selective year-long deep skill development training for systems leaders comprised of quarterly in-person and monthly virtual learning experiences as well as 1:1 coaching .

    Imagine Network’s cohort experience teaches three core skill domains to equip leaders with the expertise to shape the future of student learning: 

    • Strategic Foresight: Looking out on a further time horizon (10+ years) and exploring future scenarios to inform decisions and actions today

    • Inclusive Innovation: Defining a robust research, development and evaluation process, evaluating new solutions, and anchoring R&D in the science of learning

    • Human-Centered Systems Change: Creating a culture of shared problem solving and ownership for solutions, while fostering creativity and open mindedness when exploring new ideas

  • 3-Month Bootcamp

    The Imagine Together Bootcamp is an invite-only skill development and exposure process comprised of in-person and virtual trainings for ecosystem leaders all working in the same geography to explore and pilot new solutions

    Imagine Together Bootcamp trains visionary school and CMO leaders in the skills needed to create future-ready learning experiences: strategic foresight and inclusive innovation. Through this three-month process, they create: 

    • A vision for the future of student learning in their school(s) and potential impacts on their current organizational and academic model

    • Exposure to new models, partners, and tools aligned to the future of learning

    • Plans to prioritize innovation and build the infrastructure for new, learner-centered solutions

  • Creating Future-Ready Systems

    Imagine Network seeks to create agile, future-ready systems and has a prototype “portfolio 2.0” approach that aims to 1) pilot emerging strategies to embed systemic flexibility and enable student agency, and 2) create a playbook that captures the change and to catalyze and sustain systemic change

    The Infrastructure to Sustain Change expands Imagine Network’s focus, creating a blueprint for how to embed the systems change work locally through: 

    • Parent Empowerment: Harnessing the ground-up demand for change and new learning models

    • Enabling Policy: Ensuring both state and local policy incentivizes and sustains new ways of thinking and working

    • Portfolio Infrastructure: Creating the new system operating model needed to effectively manage a wide range of student-driven learning experiences
